Windcrest 5K 2008 - Cancelled

I regret to inform you that the Windcrest 5k has been cancelled. We have been told by athletes that the 5k is scheduled to close to the Rock n Roll Marathon and that they will not run hard the week prior to a endurance event. As a result we cannot meet the minimum requirements for the race.

For those of you that signed up online, I will send you a full refund check in the mail.

For those of you that mailed in your check, I will mail it back.

 

I appreciate you for registering and wanting to compete and very much regret having to cancel this event. The Mayor and the City of Windcrest will be very disappointed.
