400m Swim, 14 Mile Bike, 3 Mile Run

Race Day: Sunday check in starts at 6:30am at the Landa Park Pool, Landa Park Dr, located in the City of New Braunfels.

Swim: The swim will be a 400 meter swim around the perimeter of the beautiful clear spring fed pool. The start will be a time trial start with an athlete leaving every 5 - 10 seconds.

Run: The three mile run is one loop run through an adjacent neighborhood on pavement.

Bike: The fourteen mile bike course is an out and back ride through beautiful hill country roads. Be aware that the roads are open to traffic - use caution and stay to the right. You must follow all regular traffic laws.  There is a 25mph restriction on the downhill coming back on California into the park, this section is also a no-pass zone.  If you get caught passing, or exceeding the limit in the area, you are immediately DQ'd and asked to leave the course.

Parking: Plenty of parking at the park; open parking.

Race Entries are non-refundable for any reason.

Register before 7-23-09 to guarantee a Tech T-shirt and receive race discounts.

Awards: Awards to the top 3 age groupers M/F. Only one category on relay teams.  M/F 19/under, 20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69, 70 and older.

Packet Pickup

Packet pick up is Friday August 21st @ Tri-Sition Area, 2602 NW Loop 1604 San Antonio, Texas 78248 (210-492-4884) . Saturday Pickup is at Landa Park between 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Race day packet pickup is between 6:00am - 7:30am at the pool. Race Day packet pickup will cost an additional $10.00 fee for local participants only, cash or check only. Any participant living more than 30 miles away, no race day fee.

All participants must have an annual USAT membership or a single day permit If you do not have your annual USAT card, you will be required to purchase a one day $10.00 pass, cash or check only
