100yd swim, 2.5mi bike, 1k run -- 200yd swim, 5mi bike, 2k run

The Braundera Kids Triathlon will take place at the Braundera YMCA located in OP Schnabel Park.  The swim will take place in their brand new pool.  The bike route will take place in the Park and in a quiet neighborhood.  The run will be mostly on a park concrete pathway.

7-10 year olds: 100 yard swim, 2.5 mile bike, 1k run

11-15 year olds: 200 yard swim, 5 mile bike, 2k run

Race Day: Sunday check in STARTS at 6:30am at OP Schnabel Park.  Event will be Chip Timed.  You will need to arrive early enough to check-in, have you bike inspected, get body-marked, get your timing chip, and setup your transition area.

Directions: From IH1604 head South on Bandera Road and then turn left on Braun Road into the park.  From IH410 head North on Bandera Road and then turn right onto Braun Road into the park.

Parking: Please park in the YMCA parking lot and walk the bike to the pool area.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup is Saturday, October 11th @ Run Gear Run (18720 Stone Oak Drive, Suite 150, San Antonio) from 12 (noon) - 6:00PM.  All participants must have an annual USAT membership or a single day permit.  If you do not have your annual USAT card, you will be required to purchase a one-day membership for $5.00, cash or check only.

A Beginner Clinic and Information Session will be held at 3:00PM (October 11, 2008) @ Run Gear Run Parking Lot.

Entry Fees: $30.00 until September 30th, $40.00 starting OCtober 1st.  Register Early.

Awards:  Medlas for all finishers.  Awards to top 3 boys and top 3 girls in each age group.

Race Start: 11-15 year olds start at 8:00AM - swimmers leave every 10 seconds.

7-10 year olds will start as soon as all of the 11-15 year olds have finished swimming - swimmers leave every 10 seconds.
